Monte do Aniche lies within the triangle of the towns of Sao Luis, Odemira and Reliquias, reachable only by dirt tracks that are roughly 6.5 km long.
It takes approximately 15 minutes to the nearest village and basic amenities and 40 minutes to the closest beach in Vila Nova de Milfontes.
